RUSTIN JONESFIELD FOREMAN, LEAD JOURNEYMAN ELECTRICIAN
Rustin joined DG Electric in 2016 as a skilled Journeyman Electrician. With over 20 years of experience, he brings a wealth of knowledge in both residential and commercial electrical systems. Renowned for his professionalism and strong commitment to safety, Rustin oversees our field crews and manages all of our projects. His extensive knowledge in electrical systems, combined with his meticulous attention to detail, ensures that each project meets the highest quality standards. Rustin excels in managing schedules, maintaining organization, and meeting deadlines, all while prioritizing quality and safety. He takes great pride in his work and is dedicated to delivering reliable solutions and exceptional customer service on every project.
Apart from work, Rustin prioritizes spending time with his family and enjoys pursuing his hobbies of hunting and camping. His dedication to both his profession and personal life makes him an integral leader to the DG Electric team.
MICHAEL SLAZASJOURNEYMAN ELECTRICIAN
Michael started with DG Electric as an electrical apprentice in 2017 and successfully obtained his Journeyman Electrician certification. Known for his exceptional skills in electrical design, troubleshooting, and sharp attention to detail, Michael consistently ensures that each project is completed to the highest standards of quality. His expertise allows him to develop strategic solutions and tackle complex electrical challenges, while prioritizing reliability and efficiency in every task. Michael maintains a strong commitment to excellence and his dedication, problem-solving abilities, and professionalism contribute to the company's reputation for delivering superior electrical services.
During personal time, Michael values time spent with his family and enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, including hunting, fishing, and camping. His passion for his trade, along with his balanced approach to life, makes him a key contributor to the DG Electric team.
JACOB CARLSONJOURNEYMAN ELECTRICIAN
Jacob began his electrical apprenticeship with DG Electric in 2018 and has since earned his Journeyman Electrician certification. Throughout his career, Jacob has developed strong problem-solving skills and a keen expertise in lighting design, continually providing innovative solutions that meet our clients' specific needs. His ability to think critically and adapt to dynamic project requirements has facilitated his rapid growth, and he continues to expand his skill set with every new challenge. Outside of work, Jacob enjoys outdoor activities such as hunting and camping, along with hobbies like bowling and golf. Jacob's drive to excel both professionally and personally makes him a valuable member of the DG Electric team.
JULIA GERNAATCo-Owner, Office Manager, Accounts Payable, HR
As Co-Owner of DG Electric, Julia is instrumental in driving the company’s day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and professionalism across all facets of the business. With a strong background in financial management and operations, she oversees bookkeeping, billing, and administrative functions, maintaining a high level of accuracy and organization. Julia’s expertise in accounts payable and human resources supports the company’s financial health and operational effectiveness, contributing significantly to DG Electric’s ongoing growth.
Outside of her professional commitments, Julia enjoys spending time with her husband, whether it's camping, golfing, or enjoying the great outdoors. She is also passionate about gardening, finding fulfillment in nurturing her plants, and enjoys the company of her dogs.
